Vacuum lifting device for use on the construction site with manual turn and swivel function

The OKTOPUS® GLASS-Jack GL-KPN 1400 is a modular, vacuum-based load lifting device for large-area, sufficiently stable glass and façade elements with a weight of up to 1400 kg and at least partially smooth and air-impermeable surfaces on one side.

The load lifting eye of the unit allows it to be hooked into an existing customer-supplied) hoist. The suction frame can be manually rotated 360° and swivelled 90°. The ergonomically arranged operating and display elements allow comfortable positioning and movement of the load.

The electrically operated vacuum pumps are powered by a 24 V DC battery system. Optical and acoustic signalling devices provide information about deviations from the target state. Even in the event of a total power failure, the vacuum in each suction cup is maintained for at least 5 minutes. This ensures that the load can be set down safely at any time.
