The OKTOPUS® GLASS-Jack GL-RN 400/600/800 is a modular vacuum lifter with swivel and tilt function, for 3 load classes and different pane shapes.
With its extremely low total weight of (depending on equipment) only 55 - 80 kg, the OKTOPUS® GLASS-Jack GL-RN 400/600/800 is the ideal device for handling glass panes and window elements. Only by using additional suction plates and extension arms can the load capacity be increased from 400 kg to 600 kg and up to 800 kg. The optionally available suction adapter for curved panes also enables the handling of convex or concave curved panes with bending radii ≥ 1,000 mm and a max. weight of 320 kg.
The GLASS-Jack GL-RN 400/600/800 can be combined with a counterweight system. For this purpose, the basic unit is prepared electronically. Counterweight systems in combination with vacuum lifting devices are used to safely and ergonomically install glass or window elements in areas that are difficult to access - e.g. under canopies, balconies, roof projections, etc. - safely and ergonomically.
